Lykins Oil Purchases J & L Equipment and Oil Co.

(Mount Vernon, Kentucky) Lykins Companies has just purchased J & L Equipment and Oil Company located in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. J & L has been doing business in the Mount Vernon area since the 1920’s.
 

Lykins purchased DeBoard Oil Company in Mount Vernon last spring. With Lykins as the new owner of both DeBoard and J & L, Mount Vernon will have expanded fuel options. Now, under Lykins, Mount Vernon area gas stations and convenience stores will have the choice of Shell, BP, Marathon, Exxon/Mobil, and Clark brands as well as unbranded fuel. And Mount Vernon residents will now be able to get their home heating oil and propane from Lykins too.
